Ah, the signs of transitions…

Our apartment floor is covered in nearly finished flash cards, maps, and Spanish materials.  And around those are piles…piles of things to do, things to finish making, things to pack for Honduras, things to give away…

We returned several weeks ago from a cold and SNOWY Christmas in South Carolina and Atlanta with our families.  We enjoyed playing cards, walks on the beach and lost of Indiana Jones and Star Wars reruns in South Carolina and snow, ice skating, good food, and sweet time of encouragement in Georgia.  It was precious time with all of them!

Jessie said good-bye to her sweet students and great co-workers at Texas School fro the Deaf just before the Christmas holiday, and has been busy packing, preparing, and sharing our story with anyone willing to listen:). We have met some amazing people in the Body of Christ along the way and have been blessed with their enthusiasm and eagerness to be part of where God’s leading us the next two years!

Daniel has been hard at work with the Spurs as the season is in full swing and they are off to a great start!  He has also been working hard to get us ready to move out of our apartment here in New Braunfels.

Prayer requests:

  • getting all the details taken care of before we leave
  • Daniel as he continues to work for the next month (leaves for Honduras 3rd week of February)
  • Jessie’s transition to Honduras (leaves Feb 2!)
  • Our marriage as we are apart
  • Spiritually preparing our hearts
