With great sadness….

Dear friends and family of Jeff and Robin, (Directors of Signs of Love)

It is with great sadness that we write this email to you all. As some of you
may have already heard, Jeff and Robin were in a car accident in Honduras on
Friday evening, December 2^nd, at approximately 6pm. They were on their way to
Tegucigalpa from La Ceiba, when a large truck passed into their lane and hit
them head-on. Robin is currently in the hospital and is medically stable. She
is awake and alert. We are so broken-hearted to tell you that Jeff was killed
on the scene. We are devastated that we have lost our incredible friend,
brother, mentor, pastor, husband and father. We know he has touched so many
lives in very special and God-breathed ways. He was a man of much wisdom and
incredible faith. We know that Jeff’s legacy will live on through many.

Jeff leaves behind his three sons and his wife, Robin. Please keep his
family in your prayers and surround them with love as they persevere through
the days, weeks and months to come.

Robin’s mother and two very close friends will be arriving to Honduras
today and will be with Robin to help make arrangements. Robin is likely to
be released from the hospital this evening. We will let you all know once
memorial service arrangements have been made.
Please share a story, photo, or memory about how Jeff has impacted your
life, please post to this site.
With heavy hearts, but firm trust in Jesus,

Signs of Love Staff

  1. Jeff was my youth pastor as a kid. He had a passion for it. He was a fun, relatable, good man. I only recently got in touch with him again and he caught me up on his life, his love for his wife, the ministry, and his kids. It is with sorrow that I read of his passing. Knowing his larger than life personality, I know his family must be devastated. All pay the price of living, Jeff paid too soon-but he was able to really live in Love and meaningfully, which all I can think of that provides comfort.
